Vienna remains one of the most popular destinations

 The capital of Austria, Vienna, remains one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe. In the previous month alone, a record number of tourist overnight stays were made in Vienna, according to the latest statistics.


In the previous month, 967,000 overnight stays were realized in Vienna, thus exceeding last year's statistics by 6.5 percent. Venna Ture Video 4K

A total of 11.6 million overnight stays were made from January to December, which is 3.4 percent more than in 2012. The net profit of Vienna overnight hotels from January to November 2013 reached the figure of 499.2 million euros.

In December, the number of overnight stays of guests from Russia (by 1%), Spain (3%), Japan (3%), Switzerland (7%), Germany (8%), Austria (8%) increased, and especially from America (22%) associated with the increased offer of the Austrian airline "Austrian Airlines".

The number of overnight stays in December decreased from Italy (10%), England (3%), and France (1%), and all hotel categories benefited from the increased number of overnight stays in December.
