Parade of the Planets: A Fairytale Journey Through the Worlds of the Solar System

Episode 13 of Tales of Astronomy , titled Parade of the Planets , is a wonderful turning point in the series. Instead of focusing on just one planet, this episode looks back at the entire Solar System and brings together many of the scientific ideas introduced in earlier adventures. True to the spirit of the series, it does this not through a dry review lesson, but through a magical and imaginative story full of humor, worry, invention, and reflection. At the heart of the episode is a familiar pattern that Tales of Astronomy handles especially well: fear leads to curiosity, and curiosity leads to knowledge. This time, the fear comes from Pitia, who has heard that a “parade of the planets” is coming and immediately assumes it must mean bad luck and disaster. To calm her down, Yavor, Kristina, and Wendelin use a strange new invention — a machine that captures and displays memories. The Hawk Who Thought He Was a Chicken by Titan007

They say that long ago, a hawk lived on a forested hill. He built a nest in the crown of a tall tree, and soon his mate laid four eggs. Then a fierce earthquake struck, shaking the nest and sending the eggs tumbling down the slope. One egg rolled into a chicken farm at the base of the hill. The hens knew an egg needed care, so they gave it to an old broody hen.

In time, the shell cracked, and out came a beautiful hawk. But raised among chickens, the little hawk grew up believing he was one of them.
One day, while playing in the yard, he looked up and saw a band of hawks circling high above the farm. His heart leapt—he longed to soar like them. The chickens laughed: “You’re just a chicken. You’ll never fly like that. Learn your place!” Little by little, the hawk abandoned his dreams. He lived and died convinced he was a chicken.
The lesson is simple: surrender to a negative, limiting story, and you become a prisoner of a lie. If you’re a hawk, live as a hawk—spread your wings and climb the sky. Don’t quit on your dreams, and don’t let the coop define your ceiling.
Remember: your self-belief and your aspirations draw the line between failure and success. Raise your confidence. Surround yourself with people who strengthen your resolve and remind you who you are.
And one more thing—dare to dream, work for it, and then fly high in the open sky of success. Don’t be the hawk who settles for being a chicken. The Most High has granted you abundant gifts and set you apart with immense potential and strength. Discover those blessings, use them in obedience to God, and attain true happiness in this life and the next.
