BMW E60 520: Balkan Legend, Executive Trap, or the Sweet Spot of Old-School Premium? Written by Titan007

There are cars that age quietly—softly fading from the streets as newer models replace them. And then there are cars that refuse to leave the conversation. The BMW 5 Series E60 belongs to the second group. In the Balkans especially, the E60 isn’t just a used executive sedan; it’s a statement . It’s the kind of machine that can turn a parking lot into a runway and a neighborhood café into a jury of automotive opinions. But here’s the twist: the E60 is also one of those cars that can turn your wallet into a tragic comedy if you buy it wrong. And that brings us to the main character of this story: the BMW E60 520 —the “entry-level” 5 Series of its era. On paper, it’s the rational choice: smaller engine, lower consumption, less tax in some markets, and enough BMW DNA to wear the badge with pride. In real life? It can be either a brilliant bargain or a luxury trap disguised as a deal. So let’s talk honestly about what the E60 520 is, why it became a regional icon, what to watch out fo...

Crystals and the spiritual nature of man

Interest in minerals and crystals has been around since prehistoric times when man chose pieces of stone that he could use as a tool or weapon. With the development of the material culture of man, their significance increases. Crystals as sophisticated tools have been in the hands of the wisest people for generations. Today, the crystal is a tool that the avant-garde world is increasingly reaching for. "Crystals are memory banks of certain experiences - planetary, civilizational, and even pre-civilizational," Dean Shkartov-Deco said in a casual conversation, adding that the crystal should be treated as an instrument, used correctly and with a lot of love.

We know him as a great connoisseur and lover of crystals. He is known to the public for his contribution to Macedonian rock music, as a member of the groups "Ice Cube," "Badminton," "Alexander the Great," "Clermont,"… Founder at the crystal shop in Skopje (now on Rekord), and his biography has many notable performances, both in the country and abroad. However, this time the most significant provocation for a conversation with Deco, in addition to his knowledge of crystals, is his many years of experience with yoga as a practitioner and as a connoisseur of yoga philosophy.

About the origin and origin of minerals and crystals

There are several degrees of gradation, Deco begins. First is the world of minerals. A mineral is a homogeneous compound with a usually solid body characterized by a homogeneous empirical, i.e., homogeneous chemical composition. On the other hand, the crystal is a crystalline form of the mineral. Unlike the mineral, which is characterized only by empiric, i.e., chemical composition, the crystal has a strictly defined geometric definition in space. So, if in the environment in which the mineral is created,

conditions for crystallization are completed, the minerals get crystalline appearance forms, and then they turn into crystals. We can cite volcanoes as an example. According to the geometric shape of the crystal cell, all crystals are arranged in seven crystallographic systems: cubic, rhombohedral, rhombic, tetragonal, monoclinic, triclinic, and hexagonal.

About the way the crystal affects the chakra system

On the question of how crystals affect the chakras, Deco continued: The chakras are specific energy points or gates through which our being is connected to the Universe. They function as transmitters that operate at particular frequencies, so the lower chakras focus on lower frequency values, while the higher, spiritual chakras focus on higher frequency values.

When a crystal is in our aura, excited by its vibration (the aura itself is a vibratory bio-electromagnetic field), it begins to oscillate with its frequency, which is unchanging and acts as a tuner of the frequency with which the melted crystals in our cells oscillate.

The distribution of the chakra system corresponds to the distribution of the crystals according to their frequency, i.e., according to their empirical and chemical composition and color. So red crystals stimulate the root chakra, blue crystals are for the throat, and so on. Therefore, the best way to choose a crystal is the one whose color will attract you first.

About the action of the crystal (awakening of kundalini shafts)

For the action of the crystal, the most important thing is to believe in its effectiveness - advises Deco, and continues: to be open and to consciously synchronize with the vibration of the crystal. So, the synchronicity of our opening and adjustment must be observed, i.e., the start of our capacity to receive the crystal's vibration. We have that potential, but it is not active. It is asleep in our subconscious or in the first chakra. The crystals for the first chakra help awaken that potential, that is, the dormant

kundalini shakti energy.

Crystals provide harmony, and in fact, healing with crystals, in my opinion, says Deco, is a process of balancing energy in the parts of our complex system of our being - physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual.

About the connection with meditation (chakras and corresponding crystals)

We end the conversation with the question of the connection of the crystals with meditation. Meditation is the last stage of our application of Vedic knowledge and yoga, says Deco and continues: There is a belief that crystals improve meditation, which encourages the spiritual nature of man. However, before meditation, we must prepare the body through the asanas, pranayama, purification techniques (hide). Then we have mantras with which to cultivate the way of thinking of our mind.

Each asana stimulates a specific chakra, and it is believed that the same thing happens if we place the right crystal in a suitable place on the body, which corresponds to the specific chakra. Thus, red jasper or black onyx is for the first chakra (Muladhara chakra), for the wedding chakra most often corneal, citrine or amber for the plexus (Manipura chakra), rose quartz or Macedonian ruby for the heart chakra (Anahata chakra), amethyst for the third eye (agya chakra), for the chakra at the top of the head (Sahasrara chakra), most often the mountain crystal - quartz.

Suppose the emotions are purified in the right way through manipulating the chakra. In that case, the ray of energy of our consciousness can continue to rise and reach the heart (anata) chakra, where it is refined through the quality of love. In this chakra is forgiveness, and through forgiveness, we can move on to higher chakras. Next, the heel throat (visual) chakra is responsible for communication and connection, and in the agya chakra is the balance between the rational and intuitive world. Then we are ready to free ourselves through the highest chakra (Sahasrara). We are already complete in the totality of existence, and my Self in the whole Universe ends Deco.

If you decide to have your own crystal

The best way to choose a crystal is the one whose color will attract you first, and it will only work if you trust it. For a crystal to work, we must instead be open to the influence and action of the crystal. We can wear it as a pebble, as a pendant, or in jewelry. For a particular chakra to work, we need to place it on the part of the body that corresponds to that specific chakra. The crystal should be cleaned occasionally, and one way is to pass it under running water or through a candle flame.
