Parade of the Planets: A Fairytale Journey Through the Worlds of the Solar System

Episode 13 of Tales of Astronomy , titled Parade of the Planets , is a wonderful turning point in the series. Instead of focusing on just one planet, this episode looks back at the entire Solar System and brings together many of the scientific ideas introduced in earlier adventures. True to the spirit of the series, it does this not through a dry review lesson, but through a magical and imaginative story full of humor, worry, invention, and reflection. At the heart of the episode is a familiar pattern that Tales of Astronomy handles especially well: fear leads to curiosity, and curiosity leads to knowledge. This time, the fear comes from Pitia, who has heard that a “parade of the planets” is coming and immediately assumes it must mean bad luck and disaster. To calm her down, Yavor, Kristina, and Wendelin use a strange new invention — a machine that captures and displays memories. With its help, they revisit everything they have learned so far about the planets. This structure mak...

Archeology in Slovenia

The development of archeology in Slovenia and the inclusion of data on antiquities discovered through excavation plans can only be traced to general historical reviews in recent times. An exception is the Roman inscriptions stones, which have aroused interest with their hard-to-read letters precisely because of this mystery since 1 .1485 when they were first mentioned by Paolo Santonino in a diary about traveling around Slovenia. . The beginnings of Slovene antiquity are young, only in the 1970s. St. The expansion of this scientific branch in recent decades has in many ways changed our knowledge of the antiquity of the Eastern Alpine space and its turbulent prehistory. The results have not yet been comprehensively evaluated, so many areas are still unclear, several cultural phenomena are wrapped in darkness, many chapters from economic life are vague and many sections from the ephemerality of our space are only partially clarified. However, recent work has enabled this attempt to summarize the events from the first appearance of a man in the Northern Balkans to the arrival of Slovenes in the Western Alps.

The basic characteristic of the archeological periods of our homeland is the tendency to exceed the levels achieved by summarizing knowledge and experience in the increasingly established means of production from the increasingly spiritual environment.

the trend allowed for gradual economic development, leaps in social progress, and a diversified cultural boom. Given the increasingly sophisticated living conditions, past human societies have strengthened their opportunities and enriched their lives together with expressions of spirit and creativity, which has made it possible to exceed the level of past civilizations and population growth. The original ruins of the Ice Age people with 30 find so far are replaceable in the Neolithic Age by generations of people from the bridge-era period, attested by finds in over 150 places. A steep rise was made by past companies after the introduction of iron when we know close to 900 stations of the Hallstatt period. The leap passage is formed by the Roman era with over 1300 sites, this great growth can be attributed with great certainty to the openness of Roman society and the economic integration of our space into the then known world with dimensions from the Atlantic to North Africa and nearby Asia. The achieved level of many forms of past social, economic, and cultural character is certainly extremely important for the national history of Slovenes, as our immediate ancestors built their movement in the Eastern Alps on the foundations of ancient civilization with achievements in a monetary economy and subcontinental and supranational values. . Against this background, many invisible threads bind us to the spiritual tradition and to a large part of past generations who have uprooted the overgrown world, exterminated it, colonized it, and cultivated the landscape. Because of this, the finding of thousands of survivors, which also connect our time and the modern man with this oldest heritage, is deeply substantiated.
